Urban Peak

UX Research & UI Design: Website Redesign

Hidden Resources in Plain Sight

The Objective

Urban Peak is the only licensed shelter in the Denver Metro area that is able to cater to homeless youth 20 years old and younger, and is a safe place for LGBTQIA kids.
Homeless youths need assistance to find resources when they are in a tough situation.  Providing resources in an efficient and comprehensive interface, will allow more teenagers to get the help they need.  Utilizing more resources will help develop and sustain essential life skills.
Our team was tasked with redesigning Urban Peak’s website and finding a solution to provide more awareness and easier access to resources needed.
Design team included collaboration with Kelsey Mitchell and Jon Goodan.

The Result

With providing a straightforward, understandable interface, Urban Peak’s website users are able to access their resources online much easier. Easing the process of finding these resources can be a big difference when the users are in crisis.
